A trip down memory lane to a bygone era, the tour takes a fascinating look at the history and stunning architecture of the old part of Madrid. Making your way from the chic Plaza Oriente to the Palacio Real, then onto Spain's official Royal Palace, a baroque masterpiece with over 2500 rooms filled with exquisite furniture and paintings accumulated by the Royals over the centuries.
Passing the Catedral de Nuestra Senora and then through the Plaza de la Villa before stopping to admire the Plaza Mayor regarded by many as Madrid's famed Plaza filled with cafes, bars and restaurants and ideal place to take break. Continuing with your guide you meander through the cobbled streets passing the Plaza de la Puerta del Sol and the magnificent Plaza Espana filled with statues and small gardens offering shade from the hot summer sun.
